Screwdown Crown
When you fully screw down your crown does it always end up in the same position? For example when I want the Omega logo to be facing right side up doesn't matter how many times I try and how many times I start to push it in, in different positions and screw the Omega logo down on my Seamaster it always end up facing down to the left.

No, I think you are right but it would seem the watch manufacturers don't.

I was reading on some tech data and apparently no matter what position you start to screw it down it will always end up in the same position hahaha. Oh well I can live with it

Due in part to the thread being very coarse. A requirement for longevity under regular use IMO. The gaskets thickness on some crowns will vary the final crown position on some watches so whatever the manufacturer could come up with to have the crown align at 12 could be undone during a service.

Somebody has too much time to think
I have probably owned around 2-300 watches in my time. Only 1 had a "perfect" crown. |
