winding my subs

this might be a crazy question. but i have 2 subc's a LV and a LN. the LV is the newer of the 2. is it normal for the LV to have more resistance when i wind the watch?? it feels ALOT tighter when i wind it up. th LN feels much smoother.

my apologies for the noob question

guys

They're really the same watch with exception of how the dial and insert where painted or whatever process they use to make one green vs the other black. All the components being used in both wathches are all the same.

However they are both mechanical devices so one could very possibly be stiffer than the other. Manufacturing tolerances account for the difference in regards to how one feels vs another.

But as long as it works I wouldn't be concerned.

What might be perceived as "tightness" could just be a tighter fit between the works. Your older LN may have already settled in. Kind of like new pistons in a car... No cylinder is exactly a perfect match for a new piston so you have to let it wear in.

As long as it's keeping good time, I wouldn't fret.
