Louisiana GTG ?

Anyone interested in a GTG in the Baton Rouge/New Orleans area?

Yes Lafayette counts. Baton Rouge is about 55min from both places.

Whenever you guys are ready to GTG let me know!
I know a high-end wine bar that would accommodate us in Baton Rouge!

I'll always look for an excuse to go to NOLA if you guys decide on there. I always try to make it back there at least a couple of times a year.

End on Jan. is good for me too if everyone else is in...Obviously New Orleans has alot of places to choose from. Winston's Bar on Metairie Road accomodates the Cigar events that the Tinder Box puts on. I think that would be a cool place to meet at but perhaps the two hobbies aren't on the same level and we should seek another venue. The exotic car meets happen in Lakeview at Chateau Coffee House but I think a beer sounds better than a cup of joe, personally.

great place...I haven't attend their tasting in awhile. I believe they hold most of their tasting at Andrea's now. My to go cigar shop is Don Juan right across from Lakeside. New Orleans is a great city for a GTG. So if you guys are really serious about this. We should make it happen.

Final 4 and Jazz Fest is around the corner also! TRF members... feel free to drop me a line if you're in town..

Just drop me a line via email ([email protected]) if I can be of assistance. The last weekend of April and the first weekend of May is Jazzfest. If you don't already have hotel reservations, good luck. The New Orleans Wine and Food Experience does its Royal Street Stroll in May. Each of the art galleries and shops hosts a Winery, offering tastings and snacks. Afterwards, there are many great restaurants in which to dine right in the Quarter. Generally, the weather is still okay too. Bear in mind that the heat is a beast here from June thru September.
