differents between Date and Datejust
Can anyone please tell me about the differents between Date and Datejust? Specially in the movement.

Not sure on the movement but oyster date is 34mm and datejust is 36mm

if they are equivalent models eg, 16233 datejust or 15233 oyster DATE, the size is the only diffference the case is only 34mm and the band is 19mm and not 20mm at the ends and slightly thinner, the movements are the same, in the case above 3135 in both.

Thats correct the main selling factor, far more dial and bracelet options with the DJ,but movement wise exactly the same.

I've always thought that the Datejust had quickset date with instant change at midnight while the Date model didn't. Don't know where I got that from! Lol

Thank you very much! I was told that there is a quickset function for the Datejust in the "facelift" version, so I think it maybe a bit different from the Date in movement.

No, year for year they had the same movement and functions. Both went quick-set sometime in the early-mid '80s, I think.
