Questions about Snoopy

After a long battle that saw my brains and better sense beaten to a pulp, my heart finally claimed victory, so I've now started researching the Snoopy Speedmaster in the hopes of buying one in the not too distant future.

I've had a quick look around so far and there are some examples for sale but they seem quite expensively priced. I'm talking about nearly $6,000 though they're apparently in mint condition.

I'm just wondering what everyone else would pay for a Snoopy today, in mint or great condition? Also are there any owners out here with pics to share :)?

I'm not a die-hard fan of Peanuts, or Snoopy, but for whatever reason this Speedy just seems to tug at my heart strings. I've no idea why but that must be some sort of love lol.

It's an expensive piece and not maybe put up for sale with the exception on an auction site. I would say around 4.5 or so for a mint condition one

of course ebay will give you highly inflated numbers but I remember the last auction I saw for a Snoopy ended up around that number. Given that prices may have increased I wouldn't expect THAT much of a jump.

May have to just bite the bullet and go for the 6K find, once I have the funds. Ah well, it is a lovely piece.

I would suggest throwing in a lower offer on that piece and see what happens. Maybe try 4.8 and see if there is a counter

The auction doesn't allow you to make a bid. It's just a buy now thing.

Try messaging the seller and asking if he would take a lower price. I have done that before and saved a good bit of money. Also, if this is an experienced seller of watches, see if they would do a bank wire transaction to save the 13% ebay/paypal fees. Be sure to trust the seller before going that route though!

Thanks for the advice. I'll give it a shot once I have some cash.
