The "Why?" thread, or "these are the thoughts that kept me out of the good schools.."

OK, random stuff. (with apologies to Mr. Carlin)

I wonder why...

Why does Donald Duck have a shirt but no pants? How come Daisy looks alot like his sister?

Why do people always look in the tissue after blowing their nose? Are they expecting a surprise?

Why do we drive on a parkway and park on a driveway?

Oh, and watch related (gasp!), can someone please give me the proper pronunciation of 'tachymeter"?

Thanks or add on...

Not only that. But when he takes off his shirt he covers his crotch. It makes no sense

The color of one's mucous can indicate a sinus infection, so it's a good idea to check it out when your suffering a particularly bad head cold.

I wonder about a lot of things that the world seems to accept and take for granted. It would probably outrage or frighten most people if they knew what I was thinking.

Sorry, just can't. I'd much rather people here think I'm even-keeled, usually rational and somewhat normal. Um, that IS what they think, isn't it?

Why is water wet?

Why is the sky blue?

Why does having a romantic trist on a beach never end up as fun as it sounds at the time?

Why do bad things usually end up in three's?

Hmmmmm???

Why do I have the feeling that somebody had a bad experience on a beach? Too much sand in the bathing suit David?

Why is it every time I wake up and walk into my living room, everything has been replaced with an exact replica? (Apologies to Steven Wright).

Why do people lose the ability to act like rational human beings when they're flying commercially?
