Question For The People From Ontario, Cananda
Hello Friends,
I just purchased a black dial for my Daytona and was wondering if anyone can suggest/recommend a good jeweller that can make the swap for me. Would Damiani does this? Thanks in advance. |

The watchmaker at Damiani is a really nice guy. I would say that that's the only place outside of Rolex I would likely trust with something like that. Any aversion to taking it to Rolex?

I agree. The watchmaker at Damiani is excellent. I've heard excellent reviews from friends about swapping out dials or bezel inserts.

I thought going to Rolex on St Clair would be a problem. Won't they question where I got it etc etc.

Good question, are they as rough as Rolex USA in Canada?

Yeah, whatever someone said above. I'm not too sure! I really should get in contact with more Ontario watch makers and WIS's.

I asked my local AD that very question and he said as long as the watch is available with a black dial, rolex has no issues swapping from the white dial, however you cannot swap for a dial that is available on the WG model. They dont ask where you got it as long as it is authentic rolex
