Sent my Explorer to the RSC in Toronto to be regulated...
Is it weird to actually miss a watch? I mean, it's only a thing! It's made of crystal and stainless steel and various other metals and sundry parts.
It's only a 'thing' right?!
Then why does my wrist feel naked and unloved?

By how much was the deviation from the COSC spec of a AVERAGE -4 +6 seconds over any 24 hour period.Now in reality regulation take around 30 minutes start to finish and that includes a pressure check too.

It varied. Anywhere from 11 seconds to 1.5 minutes fast per 24h period.

Then your watch needs more than regulation its very doubtful that regulation on its own could pull back well over 60 seconds.Simple regulation is accomplished by turning the Microstella adjustment screws and nuts.The two smaller Microstella screws make adjustments of one second for each turn, and the larger Microstella, two seconds for one turn, but rate adjustment on the balance wheel its around a max of 30-50 seconds either way.

That is why I have another watch to feel in when one is not able to be on my wrist. Hope it gets back soon and they can regulate it back to specs

Yeah, I personally agree with all the 'get another Rolex' or 'get a Rolex for her' sentiments but she thought MY Rolex was ridiculous... maybe a new computer for me... I mean her. (he he he).

Interesting. I was kinda' wondering how they did that. But the watch is brand new and under warranty so I assume they'll fix whatever they find wrong.

Mine was gone for six weeks this summer, painful but needed. And when Rolex says six weeks, they mean six weeks. But next time I will deal directly with Rolex, and not go through a jeweler. You still get the same warranty, but direct communication with Rolex, and you will save some on the $85 shipping. So, just be patient
