Bracelet ringing alarm bells......

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VINTAGE-AU...item3f1f476057

Looks wrong to me; firstly it's a folded metal 7835..... but the clasp appears to be V11 which is 1996.

AND it looks far too clean, fresh & tight for a 16 year old, let alone 37 year old bracelet - the reference I used says that 7835 were made 1967-1975, so either I am more stupid than I thought, or this is either a bitza or a phake...

Over to you folks!

Dave

David, were the Tudor pieces delivered with identical clasps to the ones on Rolexes?

The "REGISTERED SWISS MADE" and "STEELINOX" fonts are different between your clasp and the one on Ebay, IMO.

this clasp should not be on this band, I believe it has been swapped out the clasp code date is incorrect for this band it was no longer made by 1996, the period correct clasp said patented and registered I believe also. 7835 Oyster folded made from 1967-1975 as the original poster states.
