Old Style Sea Dweller
I bought a Submariner just before the ceramic version came out and love it (scrambled serial code)
Wanted to do the same for the Sea Dweller, anyone know what the last serial letter (or year) would be? thanks much |

If you look, you can find a V out in the wild. You're gonna pay a premium though. Here's a recent sale.

Cannot understand why its just a case serial much like any other case serial over the past 25 years except for a extra digit. But in the next say 5 years there will be more of the so called random case serials than any other single letter serial case stamp. And a V case serial is the reported last run of the 16600 SD, but nothing is written in stone with Rolex today.

Yup, a V serial. Keep in mind, both M & V's don't have the engraving in the rehaut.

The SD was left untouched in the rehaut, and stayed true to it's roots right up to being discontinued...

The 16600. You can't go wrong with it. Post some pics when you get it.
