Funny looking Rolex box

A friend just bought a Rolex from a dealer and he was told that he would get an original box and that other shops/dealers sell original Rolex with fake boxes. I couldn't care less but to be honest, my ceramic sub box is bigger/different than others i have.

Is this a "fake box", or is this of a two tone/gold rolex box?

I really don't care as the warranty card is good, just curious.

The box looks good. There are 2-3 different size boxes I believe depending on the watch model.

Rolex makes no boxes so discussing "authentic box" is an oxymoron to me.

One authorized dealer disparaging another is really poor policy. I avoid dealers who disparage others...

If your watch is SS, it will come with a smaller box than watches that are partial or full precious metal.

Looks like one of my boxes..
