The most versatile sports watch

My trusted 5711/1A has been from the office to the ocean with me and now has battled the Nordic winter with minus 20C and is still fresh as a daisy (oh and yes, I do now realise they were the wrong golves to bring!!).

This is, of course IMHO, the greatest steel sports watch.

That's awesome to hear. I have a 5711/1A too and it gets a ton of wear, very versatile. You've taken it to the beach? Exposure to some sunscreen, salt water, possibly sand?

Sun, sea, sand and snorkeling. Has the scratches to remind me of some great times.

I would note that I am not a role model for watch care as I believe they are tools at the end of the day

The dial is just amazing, I've never seen such a beautiful blue colored dial that can compete with this one

Absolutely excellent. I use my Explorer I for the same purpose but every time I travel for several days without my 5711/1A I ask myself why I didn't bring it along!

Thanks for sharing!
