Old Rolex vs Newer Seiko.....just for fun

Interesting to see how my old Rolex (1970) stacks up against my newer Seiko (1991)

I'm gonna assume you use the Seiko as a beater.

Or are you saying you use them both in equal conditions but the Seiko isn't very resistant to damage ?

Love that Sub though.

I love the old Seiko! It's got a great vintage vibe to it. See if you can get it cleaned up and wear it

Me too. They represent a great value in a quality vintage chrono.

Seiko bracelet has gotta go - a poor man's attempt at a President, not looking right on a chrono.

Get a new crystal (I can help with the part number if you need, just get me the model number). Of course if it's acrylic just hit it with Polywatch and polish it up.

Ditch the gold-tone bracelet and go with a NATO or Seiko black rubber or something appropriate for the diver, and you've got an awesome vintage chrono for kickin' around in.

I dig these Old Seikos but this one needs a LOT of TLC !
