I remember many years ago when monster trucks first started out. They would barely make it over the cars. These days they are flying 15 20 25 feet through the air. Crazy!

"Grave digger" seems to be the first one in the row.

Used to see the "grave digger" each year on the way to the outer banks. Hope you had a good time, Tom

Looks like a fun time Tom. It's been a few years since I've been to one, but I can still remember how loud they were. It's insane how high these trucks can jump.

I just brought my 2 year old and 5 year old boys to the one in Minneapolis (Submariner on my wrist). I ONLY went because I knew they'd love it (my wife and I surprised them with it) but I have to admit seeing an 11' tall truck crush a 30' long motor home was pretty cool.

I think the first time I saw a monster truck was Big Foot in that 1980's movie Take This Job and Shove It by today's standards it was a meager truck, but at the time it was a completely shocking freak of a truck, my jaw dropped!!

Always was a Big Foot man myself. Bob Chandler did a lot to get that crazy "sport" off the gorund.
