1680 spring bars
Where can I get a genuine pair for a 1680, best place in the UK?
Im guessing the 2.99 ones on ebay arn't the way to go!?. Thanking you kindly. |

Go to an AD - should be about ten quid. They are for 20mm, but longer than the ones for modern cases, of course.

1680's and all through hole Subs, GMT's, and Exp II's use the same spring bars and they are/should be a staple at any Dealer... As mentioned, about 18 dollars a pair..

I buy them all from Otto Frei. They are a company specializing in supplies to jewelers and watchmakers, not your average Joe trying to turn a quick buck on eBay They have all the required sizes. Price is 2 USD / piece if you buy at least 10 pieces. I have used them for the last 3 years and quality is there: they don't rot, they look and are solid. PM me if more info is needed. I personally find it a stretch to buy them at x10 the price from an AD.
