There's no place like home!

Whew! That's it! I'm done! Finished! Finito alla musica! No more Singapore, and I'm staying in one spot for longer than it takes for me to get settled in!

Now I just have to find a job ...

It's OK, JJ - I'm still protected by a fairly substantial body of water!

I'm glad to hear you are settled in one place James. A man of your talents should find a suitable job fairly easily.

Welcome home, James. Glad Singapore is behind you and you can get back the business at hand - having fun (oh, and maybe finding a job to support the fun habit).

Thanks, guys!

I'm glad I made my decision. For the last two years, Sasha's had to put up with being dragged to Singapore and then me being gone half the time, without any results to justify the misery. This year I've got to give her top priority.

The job search has gone funny-shaped, though that's not too surprising. Given how almost every job's pigeonholed, there's not a whole lot of people who know what to do with a psychologist/recruiter/inventor/market researcher because it won't fit neatly into any given slot. Basically, I think I've hit a stage where I may not have a choice but to go and do my own thing. In the meantime, though, I'll still need to do something to keep things ticking along. Ah well.

In the meantime, I'm just going to enjoy being home. The last two years have been like doing my tour in the army all over again, and I'm glad it's over!

I don't live in the city you half wit. I'm five hours away from there. Jeez typical foreigner. You tell them you're from NY and they automatically think you're from the city. Speaking of which, there's the perfect job for you down there. You could be a cabbie. Hell, you already talk like them. You'd be perfect for the job.

Nobody asked a godforsaken girl to put her $.02 in either. But that's typical of your species.
