Thankfully nobody died!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Guys here are the pics from my nephews accident the other night. When you look at the back seat keep in mind that the twin boys in the back were both over 300 lbs. One broke two vertebrae and one broke his pelvis. It will be a long road back for both, but thankfully they will make a full recovery.

My nephew is over 6 ft and 250 lbs as well and he was driving. He will have to have some surgery on his face and nose, not to mention possible serious dealings with the law for speeeding. I am thankful that these are really good kids and NO drugs or alcohol was involved.

This still has me shaken up and both mad and sad. Love the ones you are with and the ones you aren't with, call them and tell them you love them!!

OMG!! That's horrible. They were really lucky to have even survived. Someone was watching out for those boys! I'm really glad they're relatively OK.

You would never believe that nobody died seeing that. The boy in the passenger seat walked away with nothing but scratches and scared.

That is one horrific accident, Daren. I'm glad that they will eventually pull through, but perhaps this has been a rather expensive lesson learnt about speeding!!

Sorry to hear about what has happened to your near and dear ones. Please wish them a speedy recovery from all of us.

Good luck - JJ

How they got out of there alive is a miracle. Maybe it wasn't their time. I hope they soon mend and hopefully they won't drive as recklessly again.

Wow. It truly is a wonder they all more or less walked away from that one. You ought to frame those pictures and present them to your nephew as a reminder of how lucky he was.

No matter what the law does, I do hope his parents will take responisble steps, like pulling his permission to drive without adult supervision for a while.

Wow, that was a bad one. They can count their blessings that none of them died. Hope they all have a speedy recovery.

Update on the kids from the car....

My nephew is gonna have to have two surgeries to fix his nose and sinus cavity. Physically he will recover totally mentally I am not sure if that will happen.

He did get to see the twin in the hospital yesterday for the first time. He visited with them and their parents and grandparents for about two hours. Everyone was in great spirits and there was alot of hugging and smiles.

The boy with the broken neck may be released as early as Wednesday, which is great news. The other boy has at least two more weeks in the hospital and then another two or three months bed ridden.

They have no idea how lucky they really are, thank goodness someone or something was looking down on them.

Holy smokes, Daren - how fast was he going when that happened? Good thing they're all OK, although I agree that the piper's yet to be paid!

Always hard to tell how much of the damage to the car was done by the crash, and how much by the rescue.........at any rate, it looks serious enough that all should be pleased to be alive and mostly intact.

Hope the recovery goes well.....

Guys, there was some serious cutting by the 'jaws of life' to get the boys out.

The cars was going approx. 70 mph when they lost control and spun into the barrier.

I still shake looking at those pics.
