blue is more difficult to match clothing.

You RARELY see them on TRF, it's my absolute favorite (affordable) ROO.

Tell that to the watch industry. It seems blue was the new black at Basel!

Whenever I have seen a thread with a navy ROO and something else at the same sort of price point like a panda or a rubberclad or a safari etc. the Navy tends to loose the battle as most seem to say its not as versitile as the others. In a rotation a navy ROO would be a great option and its a stunning watch in person, but I don't see it as easy as the others to match with clothing, if you worry about that sort of thing.

Navy and Volcano I see are often the cheapest Roos for sale so I imagine demands not so high for these. On ROs tho the blue is highly coveted and when it is associated with platinum - Novelty, DD2, Daytona etc.

Like the 'Hulk' - these color references are desired by people who love the colors.

Even the 'Bee' is in that category but there are more people to choose yellow compared to orange.

Blue is an awesome color - just not to be a main watch in a collection.

roo navy article

It's the only ROO on a leather strap I own. My favorite color, of course, sporty yet understated. Its unpopularity compared to the Panda means I rarely bump into another one, and that's alright by me. Cheers.

i think it'd look awesome if the dial was blue and the subdials white. then it'd be the blue themes tho...

I like it well enough but wish the pushers and crown were black.

I would go one further and say also with black subdials and then you have the Panda, the most popular ROO, and probably one of the main reasons why the Navy suffers being so close to it.
