Which should i buy 18k Rolex Daytona with solid gold band or with leather croc band, both are sons the same price range but not sure which style i should go with. Any suggestions?

Style wouldn't be the only determinator in the choice you provided. Movements are different, lume is dead on one and price is high on the other.

All in, I'd say the Zenith mov't. all gold is the better choice.

It's a tough choice, on one had you have full gold, on the other, you have an older watch. Some people prefer the vintage so I guess it's down to what you prefer?

Personally, I would go full gold wherever possible because you can always fit a strap to it later. You can't go the other way around though because the end links are permanently attached on the strap models.

I always prefer a bracelet over a strap. Some are the reverse.

Love the strap but you will never be able to source on reasonable price you changed your mind later.

I have on the strap - I like it very much. But I sometimes really want to have a bracelet on it, which is not an option. Still, the strapped version is really in a class by itself. It's more of a dress watch.

For the summer I dress it up with Rubber B-White band. In winter I use the Croc band. I actually have an aftermarket leather as the croc wears out in about 1 year.

I'd sometimes like to have the metal band as an option. I think that getting some endlinks from our newest endlink maker could be a good option if you go for the metal band version and want to try it on leather at some point.

One thing to note - the 2 versions you list up top.

Zenith movement is, in my opinion not as good at the Rolex movement in later models. It's more complicated, and has more components. Rolex built a great movement for their current models

The price on the strap version you show I feel is a little high.

The bracelet can be washed under water daily, for this reason alone I would choose the bracelet.

For me I went strap. It gives the Daytona a unique look that is not too loud. The bracelet version to me, is a bit too much. Plus you can have fun picking up new straps

I would guess that sign on bracelet are the oyster crowd that want their watch to scream Rolex.

Definately 18k bracelet. As said above it will be easier to source a leather strap than an original 18k bracelet. That alone would be the determining factor for me. Good luck and keep us posted!!
