Omega Speedmastet Mitsukoshi mod
I posted in another thread but here's to share more pictures of the 3572.50 mod!
Got the watch from Malkav, dial and hands on Ofrei and Mike Young (of Rolex band repair fame) helped out with the dial swap - also picked up a nice brown leather strap!

That looks amazing. I really like it. Would you mind sharing what the approximate costs were to have it all done? Also, where did you get the strap. I have been looking for something similar.

In fact I think there are a few modded watches out there for sale on TRF. I got my strap from Mike. Most forum members have only dealt with him on stretched bands via mail but I had the privilege to drop by his shop since I'm in the same city!

Super sharp watch.
When I get tired of my 3572.50 it might make a fun project to follow in your footsteps. |

looks really nice! is it hard to read the time at certain angles due to the dial color and hands?

I have ordered the Mitsukoshi dial from Frei along with a set of black hands (sub dial white hands will remain). Cost was just over $400 but it was on back order. Hope to get them this week sometime. I will post pics once the swap is complete. Great job guys !!
