Panerai replacement strap??

I am an absolute newbie to Panerai after owning and selling 5 Rolex watches. However today I bought a Panerail Radiomir black seal 183.
However I feel that the tan 26mm / 26mm strap is too wide for my wrist. Is it possible to fit say a 24 mm strap to the watch. I know it will leave the wire lu8g a little more exposed , but that would be ok if it fits.
Can anybody give me som eadvise on this . As I said I am a complete newbie to Panerai.
thanks
Knoffie

that will look ugly. surprisingly the base radiomirs look nice even with small wrists due to their thin profile. at the lugs are 26 mm but they taper down.

change to black they will not stand out too much.

I'd also be concerned that much play in the wire could cause some wear.

You just need a strap that tapers. It will look goofy with a 24mm strap unless you are going for a vintage worn look.

My favorite on dress straps is 26/24 taper, but I'm guessing you should get a 26/22 or even 26/20 taper.

Same here, it does not look good. iI tried all my 24/24 straps (which are in the drawer now, after selling my PAM002 B) and it did look wrong. The OEM Rad straps are 27/20 or 27/22 ,,, which looks great, 26/22 also looks good and all my straps for the PAM 210 are 26/22 which gives the whole watch a more elegant look ... dressy and less sporty. Sometimes I use a 26/26 from my 372 ... but I prefer the 26/22.

Thanks Everyone. I followed your advice and bought an aftermarket 26/22 black strap from panatime. Cant wait to receive it .
I will post a photo as soon as I get it.
Thanks once again for the great advice.

Since you have the strap thing handled, I am also going to chime in with my congratulations on the 183 and reinforce its awesome watchness.

Wear it in good health!
