If you've introduced your Rolex to any smoke like airborne substance to include cigar smoke, cigarette smoke, aerosol can spray, carbon dioxide and/or oxygen; then you should have your watch pressure tested immediately to prevent possible further damage.

I had a room full of smoke, but no rolex. Just a few years back, I quit smoking and decided to put the cigarette money away instead, to grow. 1 year ago bought my first rolex only with this money, my first non smoking rolex, and the room has now only fresh air.

You are correct on all accounts.

A very different example but an example none the less...

Take two grandfather clocks, one has been in a smokers home and the other a non-smoker for at least a few years. There will be a noticeable difference in the lubricant in the movement.

Sounds like a win-win to me. Congratulations on both achievements!

Thanks Rolex-ites.
What kind of smoke filled the room when you thought up this question?
