5 mil serial sold for usd $8,999.

Seller didn't provide too many pics, but looks legit. It's hard to tell if the hands match but, if real, was this a great deal? Seller has 100% feedback on high end watches. Seems most I can find online are well over $10k. What do y'all think?

No box or papers.

I saw that one when it was initially listed and thought it looked nice, but upon further inspection the lugs have been over polished and the the ends inside the lugs show damage from a loose bracelet end link hitting it over the years. Not an example worth buying IMO.
