Vintage 1601 Datejust Avg. Price Range?
Can someone advise a typical range / avg. price set for a near mint quality 1601 Datejust 70's - 80's model?
With Siliver or Black gloss dial, to be specific.

I paid £1300gbp for a 1972 1601 a few days ago. Nice condition, black dial with white gold flute.

Paid similar money 1 year ago. But: it is really hard to give a figure in general. Quality costs money.

Vintage 1601 Datejust Avg. Price Range?
Condition is everything. A mint one I would pay 2.5 with full set. These were daily wearers many are banged up and over polished. Average one 1500-2000 depends on condition and extras like papers and box

$1500-2000 USD is fair value. Upper end of that range for excellent non refinished condition. (Refinished dials and hands destroy value IMO). I just bought a 1601 wideboy the other day to complement my more modern DJ and fell within the quoted range. Happy hunting!

Expect to pay high teens maybe low 2k range if you want the box and papers. Good value for a classic piece in my opinion. Good Luck

I picked up a '75 1601 last week. I paid $2.4K for it, but it's pretty minty with a fresh service, and new bracelet. A little north of what I was looking to pay but I love the look of it, so I don't really care.
