Ohhh what to do.

So some of you guys know im selling a new submariner for a friend. After picking it up from him and now getting the pleasure to look at it everyday I just cant stop taking the 116610 out of the box and looking at it. I never thought the thought would even enter my mind of buying it for myself. The problem is do I take a big hit financially and keep it. Or should I sell a couple of my watches to cover the cost. I attached a picture. I have the bands for all the others with straps. Trying to keep those in good shape so I dont have to send them to Micheal young lol. Except for the snowflake band Michaels working on it as we speak.

Would be a nice addition to your collection if you have the cash laying around and want to spend it.

If not, it's not like it would be a missed opportunity. You can find a SubC anytime.

The problem is the datejust is my birth year. And the breitling has one of the rarest blue vitesse dials..

Nice group! I like the DJ, I wouldn't sell it. As for the 116610 - it's a great watch, but maybe get a vintage sub to go with the DJ and the flake, though?

The Breitling stands out like a sore thumb. If you love it and wear it often, pass on Sub. If not, pull the trigger!

The datejust is not going anywhere I guess. The breitling I am debating.

Your DJ and Breitling Chronomat both have the yellow gold on it to add a yellow gold something to the collection. I would sell one of those for that sub. I think the DJ will hold its value over the Breitling.

I do love the looks of the breitling. But ever since I got it, the thing doesnt keep up with the watch winder. The DJ and snowflake are great with it. Then after going to see breitlings hideous new line up all I can see is the price of that thing going up.

Just my honest opinion here...don't hold it against me!!

The Tudor or DJ cannot be considered a fair trade for the 116610. Both of those NEED to stay in your collection. If the Breitling can't be parted with, then the 116610 needs to wait.

I would pass on the Sub c. I owned one and it will never compare to a nice vintage sub with character.

I would try wearing the sub c around the house for a day. I got rid of mine after I wore it all day at an event. It was too heavy for me and uncomfortable. With my vintage subs I can wear them all day and not even notice them.

Just make sure you really like the sub c before you sell a watch u might end up missing.

I wore the breitling for about a year before getting the snowflake. I liked the weight of the breitling. Felt like you were getting your moneys worth. The 116610 feels like that also..
