For under $10k I would say go with a really nice 1680 white or a 1675 Pepsi

GMT (any matte), 1680 white, 5513 (matte).

There's no answer to this.

What do you like and what do you expect the watch to do?

If it's your first piece, I'd go with a 5513. Good luck.

I agree with everyone so far. Subs (5513 or 1680). If a second timezone would help, then a GMT (1675).

I prefer the date function so I vote for a 1675/16750 matte or 1680. 5513s are great if you love simplicity.

Quite a few good options for under $10K. I like the GMT 1675 or 16750, or a Sub 5513. Plenty of good examples for sale by trusted TRF sellers. Good luck!

Go buy a 1601 and a 5513. Why get one when you can have two great vintage Rolexes for under $10k.

you could probably find a nice 1665 SD for 10k...as much as I love 5513's I would be just as happy with the SD..
