Looks almost brand new for a 38 year old watch. Overpolished? The description says that the dial is original but it does not have the vintage look? Any thoughts on value as I am very new to this game. Thanks in advance for the help.

Its real, but a frankenwatch, dial is not original and band might not be also, we need more pics of the band.
My strong advice to you is to buy from a trusted seller here on the forum, you will never pay too much, and sellers here always reveal anything about the watch that has been modified or is not original.

Thanks! I like the small Roman numerals on the outside edge of the dial. I do not necessarily care for the diamonds. What age DJ would that dial be "original" to? Is there a dial available with the small Roman numerals without the diamonds? I will probably buy from here instead of ebay as I have had success in other forum communities and purchases.
