 I think it's faded black, too. My Tiffany 1675 has one just like it. When I first bought it, I thought it might be some "Tiffany Blue" variation. BUT that was long before I found enlightenment and all the experts here on this forum. Now I know that it's faded from black. Enjoy the forum and the fade.
