Nautilus or Aquanaut Bezel Replacement

Has anyone ever badly damaged their nautilus or aquanaut bezel that patek had to replace it?

Not that I've ever heard. Most people that own them don't subject them to that kind of abuse. Even if they did, PP would polish/replace without issue.

i've seen some bezels that have been really bollocksed up. patek makes a great job at refinishing

after all it's just steel and it it's too badly damaged some laser surgery should fix it

I didn't think you could replace the bezel. Would you not need a whole new case?

The bezel is totally separate to the case, so could be replaced if required.

What's the laser repair? Something Patek do? I hadn't heard about this before.

Patek does laser welding, but only in Geneve. The Henri Stern Watch agency does polishing only. Very interesting tech.

Thanks guys - had a look on the patek site and there's a video that mentions laser welding to fill deep scratches or replace a missing lug. Pretty impressive they can do this.

That's why we wear Patek Philippe. Send a basket case to Geneva and get it back looking brand new...should only take three to five years and cost as much as a new Patek Philippe...

How much time and money is immaterial...at least that's what they told me when I drank the Kool-Aid...
