I am assuming the OP is referring to yellow gold for both... 116618 blue or black? Assuming this is the case I am for the blue hands down but make certain it is the new release (2013) darker shade of blue dial Of course for the WG 116619 it is the smurf and this is stunning too

OP, we need some guidance, what metal are you considering?

Get a GMTII BLNR (Batman) and you can have both colors.

I think blue is 1000x more versatile. I never wear black anymore - I'm wearing a green t-shirt, blue chambray shorts, and brown boat shoes - would black go with that? Nope. Would black go with my blue shirt, brown shoes, brown belt, and chinos at work? Nope.

I get that you like blue, I do too, but everything you say here is patently not true, just enjoy the colour you like and relax about justifying why.

Buy the black and you will probably wish you bought the blue. Buy the blue and you will probably flip it for a all gold day date in search of something flashier.

Bought both. Sold black. But you're the one who has to look at it, so pick what you like. Both are very different watches, despite being the same design.

Why is this even a question? Smurf or YG Sunburst all day long! And I don't have the means of owning either!

Mine is too, but blue is unarguably a good colour for a diver.

hahaha, interesting discussion...

Educate me, what is the meaning of Sunburst?
Are YG Blue, TT Blue and WG Blue different in gradients?
