Hole too big

Hole for 'screw for crown wheel' stripped. Should I use Loctite (223) on screw kept under pressure for 24hrs. or do you have some other solution?
Thanks

Just my humble opinion, it is never too late to send it to her. Just consider the future problems loctite erosion could cause. And what if tapping process went awry?

Yes, stop ruining the movement you keep making it worse and are not up to sorting the issues. How you can strip a thread I don't know and loctite is not a good or honest repair.

I don't know how they got stripped either. Maybe when disassembling. I would rather do it the right way which if I could find a larger left hand screw I would gladly do it.

Sorry mate, but it's like watching a train wreck in slow-motion. Send it to V.

Sorry mikie, but this is not something to be dealt with in a forum post. Be honest with yourself and realise you are not a watch repairer, let a professional deal with this before you make it any worse than it already sounds.

Ok...I'll bite This thread is awesome.

Honest = Any piece that is damaged is replaced (if possible).

Hack/less than honest = The use Loctite/superglue/epoxy/JBweld/tape/or any adhesive used to affix any item designed to be joined mechanically.

Why is the hole too big?
You have the wrong screw or you have damaged the bridge or whatever it is you are screwing in too. So find the right one or replace the damaged part.

If you have to ask every step of the way, as you are, then you should not be doing this yourself. Learning is finding out and researching yourself then asking the about the things that can't be researched or learnt on your own.

Stop being lazy and stop ruining your movement, you are not a watch repairer.

Maybe, maybe not.

He had other profiles so they're all gone and IP ban in process.

Either way, this one isn't going to last long with a start like that...

That would have never worked... a full 360 degree tig weld of the crown to the case would have done the trick...
I think he was ultimately gonna end up doing that anyway
