Do you ever have one of those days where...
Hi all I ve been wearing my LVc this weekend haven't worn it for awhile favouring wearing my 16600 more lately and I haven't bonded with it at all this weekend... Just suddenly feels too square. I ve always loved this watch especially the dial.
Does anyone else have this with their watches from time to time? |

I felt the same way after a while with the 116610LV. I love the dial, bezel, and updated bracelet. The green never got tired, but it felt too blocky for me after a little while. The lugs make it wear too large for my wrist.

Yup. I have...
I rotate my Exp I , Sub date and Deepsea along side with my Panerai...But lately have been favoring the Rolexes more... When I wore the 114270, it felt great, light weight, and comfortable but after switching to the 16610, felt that the Exp I a bit too small... And when I wore the 16610, it seems to be just nice a size and comfortable but when I switch to the Deepsea, felt that it got beaten real bad by the beast... With the Deepsea, its massive, substantial weight and huge yet comfortable...been wearing it for the past 1.5 years with no problems... But suddenly the need of switching to a lighter weight piece arises...and the cycle starts over and over again...Lol. I believe its perception and once you get used to it, it really nothing... Now I enjoyed have different sizes of Rolexes to rotate around... |

Adding a Glidelock to a 16610LV would make a fantastic watch, but ~$2,000 on top of the green Sub is a hard pill to swallow.

Felt the same way as OP when I had my 116610LN. That's is the reason I flipped it. Still like it a lot but for some reason the singing stopped.

I agree about the new case design...just doesn't have the same symmetry that the classic case does.
The classic case visually flows into the bracelet giving it a more balanced overall look AND IMHO feel when worn.

I like the super lugs and the 42mm feel, if anything I wish the bracelet were a bit wider to reduce the blockiness.

I love both, but after wearing 116610LV my 16610 feels small. I only find it to look square when not on the wrist.

I might be weird but I love the blocky-ness of the bigger lugs. I also like how the bracelet tapers..I think it looks like cheap bling rapper jewelry when bracelet is same width as lugs.
Rolex knows what they're doing... |
