As long as you bought from a reliable source why worry about it,now if you could see it easy then you would have something to worry about. Its quite hard to see its normally at the 6 position but there have been reports that models that normally have the LEC some of the same model did not, nothing is written in stone with Rolex today.

I usually see it easier tilted at a angle or use a led flashlight to see the crown

The LEC is tough to spot with the naked eye... especially against a white dial.
Only Rolex in the current program to NOT have the LEC are the two Milgauss watches with black and blue dial.

6:00 position but I've heard it's easiest to see if you're looking down the crystal from the 12:00 position. Just look towards the 6:00 and play with the angels and the lighting you will find it. I have an Exp II and I found mine and I'm legally blind. Lol

If it's white dial it's very hard to see. I have Explorer II White dial and I have to use a loop and look at an angle up towards 12 o'clock. Almost have to guess where to focus your eyes and the loop.
