Very nice and elegant piece. I really like it. I've looking for something like that for a while but haven't found something to my liking. What's the reference number on that? Haven't seen that one before.

Looking at your signature, I can see why you're drawn to that one.

I agree completely!

This was the first of the LE Olympic models that an stand alone as just a killer watch...
No Gaudy Writing on the dial, no Olympic rings on the second hand, just a beautiful watch with a tasteful inscription and logo on the caseback...

Not as obvious in the photos, but the detail and finishing on this watch is amazing... and it wears a big larger than 39mm given the dial-Bezel ratio...

Hopefully you'll stick around and look at some of the other offerings from Omega...I think you'll be pleasantly surprised...

Might just change your mind about the whole brand...

Mahalo! I see you're quite familiar with this Olympics LE, very perceptive comments. When it was first introduced I couldn't get my mind away from it and immediately ordered one, haven't looked back since. It really is beautiful, like having one of the vintage pieces but updated with/by today's technology.

I had a chance to view the Basel novelties this past week at our Omega boutique and the new 300 models were very nice . . . .

Never would've know it was 39. Wears larger than it is, but looks perfect on the wrist.

It does wear larger but not overbearingly so for me, thank goodness. Here's a couple more wrist shots to give you a sense of it's proportions (I don't need much of an excuse to do pics ) . . .

Beautiful Omega Michael! I have never seen this one either! Looks great on your wrist. I have been wondering about the new Seamaster 300 as well. I am looking forward to seeing it soon. Congrats on a beautiful watch!

Thx Kevin! The 300 is very nice though you wouldn't have to apologize for some of your wrist candy that you've commented on/shared in the past!!

Not a real big Omega fan . . .

I do like an Omega from way back. And yours looks like a great classic to be.

My first Swiss watch and still a favorite.

Yes the De Ville Trésor will be also be a great model when we see it sometime this Fall. My old Omega is an SS Automatic designed as an affordable spinoff from the De Ville from the 1950's. I received it new as a graduation gift in the mid-'60s. The bracelet wore out after 25 years and I recently added an Omega beads of rice replacement from Otto Frei.

I think the Trésor is only in Gold for initial release but hopefully an SS version may come later. It will be slim-case, exhibition backed and the co-axial movement is only manual wind.

Nice video from Omega at: http://youtu.be/vnkQMeyqSKk
