Travel Time, not that one...thoughts on this one?

I hadn't seen this one before, so thought i would share it.

5134P...i think it is very nice! 37mm, platinum, nice balance & details...
however, not sure about the 3rd hand?

Notice the pushers at the 9 o'clock side, familiar to the current Aquanaut 5164.

Beautiful watch! I agree that the pushers look just like the ones on my 5164 based on that picture.

Used to have the G version - broke several times and I understand it sees the highest return rate in the service centres. Shame because it is a beautiful piece (P even nicer than G).

I had a chance to handle and wear the Tiffany dial dial last week.
Great looking watch, but a bit on the small side for me. Even for a dress watch.
If it feels and looks right for you, then it's a winner.

If memory serves a member around here has (or at least used to have) one. I quite like it myself although the third hand could be a tad different.

Is that a third time zone in the top subdial?

That looks like the 24 hour feature that references day or night for the 3rd hand.

I'm not a huge fan of the placement of the sub dials.

I'm definitely a fan of the Travel Time. Tried one on yesterday. Loved it.

Hey guys, I am brand new here and this is my first post so thanks ahead of time! I am looking to add a Patek and have a chance to buy this same model from a friend. All papers etc, from 2006, perfect condition. I have a rolex deep sea dweller and a Rolex GMT. I know that the recommendations seem to say get a Nautilus first. But I love the look of this watch and need a dress watch. I am getting it well under what he paid in 2006 and from what I can tell this is discontinued and should be decently rare. Just looking for advice around the collectibility (I know I like it so have the personal preference side handled :) Thanks again!

If you are buying this for collectibility you are buying for the wrong reason. I don't see this ever being a collector piece nor one in high demand. If you want to buy because you love it then go for it. Any other reason don't bother IMHO.

It's manual wind and lacks a date. It won't likely be collectible but sure is a nice watch.

37mm would be quite an adjustment from a deep sea.

Couldn't put my finger on it, knew something wasn't right.

I would think a two time zone watch requires a date to be all it can be.

Thank you everyone. Those are really good points. He was asking 20k for it and though that seems to be a great deal compared to what it cost (35k) and for a tiffany dial. I think your points are very valid and I am going to decline this one. Only downside is now

It's a neat watch but the movement is undersized for the case. I'd love to own it but the idea that one day this one will be "collectible" seems really far fetched.

I have a 5134g and I use it exclusively when I travel. It's a fantastic piece that I find is quite useful!

However, all my Pateks are automatics so it takes a bit getting used to having wind every day.

Saw this model before and thought about it. Opted against it as the bezel, hands, and overall feel are a bit too chunky for a PP, all likely due to the undersized movement for the case.
