I'm almost 50 and my near vision has turned bad. However, I only have a 7.25inch wrist. Tho I wear a Sub everyday, the easiest to see for me is my Omega 2254.50 with a 41.5mm dial.

I've owned/worn too many watches than I'd like to admit and my favorite size is unquestionably 41mm. The Omega SMP is proportioned perfectly.

I'm not understanding this new trend for 48mm |

I have a smaller wrist, so 39-41 is perfect for me. Nothing smaller or larger.

I had a 43mm and it was right on the line for me being too big. 39 would be the smallest I would go. Anything in between is spot on.

I like the original DD in 36 mm better than the DDII in 41 mm. I love my GMT II and Sub in 40 mm. If I had the dough, I'd get the Polar EXP II in 42.
Depends on the watch I guess. |

I prefer 48 mm but wearing a Rolex is way important than size.If Rolex makes a watch in 48 mm in these following I would order by good grace

I have relatively small wrist which enables me to wear almost any size.
And I was always fan of 36mm-40 mm range of watches, but lately I'm leaning toward 42-43mm. |

I have a small wrist so 39mm-41mm is the sweet spot.
My 36mm Explorer 1 is probably my most comfortable watch to wear. I still wear it occasionally, and when I do I enjoy it... but it does look small to me now. May be time to consider taking a couple links out and passing it on to my wife. |

Picked 41, but 41-42 hits the sweet spot for me. It really does depend greatly however, on whether its dress or sports, and if it's thick or thin.
