Help with a Vintage Longines Weems
I am trying to decide if I should refurbish this dial... If it is an original, I will keep it as is. But I am not sure to be honest, and I would like to get the thoughts of some of you experts out there... The movement serial number dates to early 40s.
Also the 3rd and 4th pictures below have the original crown. We replaced the crown temporarily so we can wind the watch, as it was just repaired. I intend to put the original one back in, once I am happy with the way it runs... thanks! |

Would not redial watch. Has good patina.
Only time I would redial is if it was a complete basket case. |
