Help identifying watch

Hello All,

Long time lurker, first time poster - great forum full of useful/interesting information!

I inherited a Rolex/Omega watch collection from a relative, and whilst I have receipts/boxes/info regarding the majority of the pieces, I'm at a loss with one of the watches. I've taken some pictures and would be grateful if someone more knowledgeable than me (wouldn't take much) could identify it... Only thing written on it is "shock-resisting" in capitals (and Rolex obviously). There are some Hallmarks on the bracelet, but they're far too small (don't have a magnifying glass).

Apologies for poor quality photo (taken on iphone), but should hopefully be good enough for an identification.

Thanks,
Herzog

I believe you would help yourself by taking better quality pictures of your watch... ;)

It's not an oyster case so you should be able to get the back off and photograph the inside caseback and movement.

Yes, photography is not my strongpoint :) All I have is a rubbish iPhone...

So, I've taken the back off:

Caseback (in order from top):

13874 - Dennison - Made in England for Rolex - some hallmarks - A.L.D. 626089.

Movement (apologies for neanderthal like description):
- corresponding to 6 o'clock on the face Rolex is written (below train pivot wheel?)
- on ratchet (?) 15 RUBIS, ROLEX, SWISS MADE are written
- 41469 written next to balance wheel.

Does this help, or just confuse things more

Google has answered a few of my questions - don't know specifics regarding year, but found out some interesting info regarding Dennison in Birmingham.

Thanks for the help.

And can you share the pics of the movement now that the back was off?
