What box goes with L serial

I have an L series sub (1988-89) and have been trying to figure out what is the correct box that it came with. Research online indicates a 67.00.08 but seem that may be too early. Does anyone have an L serial 16610 with original box and papers that tell me the box ID and possibly post a photo?

Thanks in advance.

This box was used from around 1988 until 1992. The center cushion was vinyl covered and prone to cracking.

That is the box that my n series Sub came with from 91. The pillow was in bad shape

My L-serial Sub 5513 came in this box with the moon-crater outer box. I didn't buy it new, but checked the serial number and style and it matches others from this period, so I think it's original. Serial is 68.00.08 but this number can also be found on later boxes.

The moon crater box was used outside the USA.

L sub box

Thanks for your post. Is the Rolex crown on the lid of this box embossed in gold or embossed with no color.
