Icon7 Does this one look OK?

Hi all,

I'm looking to make my first Rolex purchase in the near future, starting I hope with a Polar Explorer.

I've owned quite a few differend Swiss brands (Oris, Fortis, Tissot, several Omegas including a Speedmaster), but really wanted to get into Rolex, and I really like the Explorer II. I'm active on a couple of UK fora (that's where I live) and WUS, but seemed logical to come here and get involved!

Anyway, I've almost settled on a watch from an Italian seller on Chrono24. Looks like a legitimate business, and some good feedback on here (plus watch).

So to the watch. The seller assures me that it is 100% genuine, but looking at the pics the type on the dial looks a bit heavy compared to some pics (but quite similar to others I've seen). The bezel looks to be sunburst brushed too. Has it maybe had a bit of a polish? The rest looks ok (cyclops, bracelet pins, stack of hands), but I'm no expert!

Here are a couple of pics:

I'm not a stickler for 100% perfection, but it does have to be genuine of course! Condition looks good generally.

Anyway, many thanks in advance for the help, I shall look forward to getting involved more once my ownership begins.

Alex.

Moved to the correct section for such a topic.

As for the watch, the pics are to small to tell you anything.

Apols, hadn't realised that the pics were so small!

Thanks for the replies in any event.

Not bought anything yet... but soon I hope!
