Omega AD/accessories NYC
I'm looking for the 18mm deployant clasp and rally strap for my speedy.
Considering buying it from the boutique in NYC. Does anyone know of any other sellers who'll have it in stock in NYC. Would the boutique give any omega goodies for buying from them? Thanks

The Omega Boutique in The Westchester Mall in White Plains had a great selection of watch straps and deployment clasp. I just bought both for my PO the other day.

Buying from a boutique can get you some good stuff. They won't discount so they'll make up for it with freebies like parties or different accessories. The more you spend, the better the goods. Try to establish a relationship with the sales people. Buying a strap might get you some free travel pouches or something similar. And you might be invited to events at the boutique.

My experience with the Boutique in my area was great. I was expecting to get the full court press, but was pleasantly surprised. They let me try on everything I requested, etc. Very patient and knowledge from my experience.
Also, I was surprised to find that the deployment clasp and rubber band was not as much as I've heard from people on the forum. I was expecting to pay north of $350 for each, but paid $260 for the deployment clasp and $280 for the band, which I felt was not ridiculously bad. Anyways, back on track. Great experience at the Boutique in White Plains if you can make it up from NYC. FWIW |

I have always had great experience at the U.S. Omega boutiques: super friendly staff, knowledgeable, technician on staff... Too bad there is such a difference in price between them and trusted sellers around here.
I am sure that if one boutique has a great inventory, it is the NYC one. |

If you're looking for a strap or clasp...It should be a NO BRAINER...
Go to the BOUTIQUE ... Profit margin on the straps and clasps are razor thin, so even the ADs will not be able to discount very much... At the boutique, you'll pay essentially the same price, but get a much more memorable experience... get to see every imaginable model, get to see the newly renovated boutique, plus lounge, plus watchmakers onsite facility... and maybe get some SWAG... (if you go to the 5th av Boutique in NYC, Ask for EMONG, and tell her R.J. from Canada sent you ;)... they may open up the Veuve Cliquot)...

Like to look at the Boutique
But rarely do I ever purchase from them. My money goes to a trusted seller here that always takes great care of me. As far as straps go Carl at gasgas bones gets my loot. The quality can't be beat, and at a third of what the Boutique charges.
