3130 vs, 3131

hello--

how does the new 3130 on the oyster perpetual differ from the 3131 on the milgause?

i am debating buying one or the other.

The Milgaus 3131 uses different metals than the basic 3130 to resist magnetic fields. The Milgauss is also fitted with a soft iron faraday cage inside the case.

These are completely different watches for different purposes and so I wonder why the movement matters; the function you want should be the driver.

The differences between the 3130 and 3131 is the 3131 has the Parachrom hairspring, non-magnetic. The 3132 has both the Parachrom hairspring and the Paraflex shock absorber. The 3130 and 3131 have a Kif shock absorber and the earlier hairspring.

The 3130 now has a parachrom hairspring. I don't know when they added it.
