Do you use your Daytona Chronograph & Tachymeter?
Do you use your Daytona Chronograph & Tachymeter - and how often, in what situations - when attending races, other sport events?...

I use the chrono on my Daytona mostly to time cooking and grilling events. I rarely use the tachy.

I only use the chronograph of my Daytona 1 hour's time once a month to keep the mechanism well oiled.

I use it for room clearing during hostage rescues and HALO jumps. Oh wait....are we talking about real life here?
Yeah, mostly laundry and occasionally keeping the mechanism running properly. |

Great Question!!! I like the way the Daytona "Looks" but it basically about as much of a tool as the Milgauss.
In other words, it just looks cool.

I never owned a Daytona but handled many TT and YG versions at my AD before.
IMHO, I always thought the chronograph function was a little inconvenient to use. Since to time something, you probably have to take your watch off, then unscrew the pushers, then press the pusher. If I was gonna time something, I'd want to just press the pushers right away you know? I still think the Daytona is the best chronograph in the world though if not the most legendary!
