Replacement screws for Sub-C Oyster bracelet
Where can you get replacement screws for the SubC-Date Oyster bracelet? I see after-market ones listed on Amazon and Ebay, but I'm pretty sure those are cheap Chinese crap. Does an AD have screws?
THE BACKSTORY: Even the Bergeon 1.6mm screwdriver does not fit snugly into the Oyster screws and no matter how carefully you loosen the screw, there is a tiny amount of damage to the screw head because the tip of the screwdriver wiggles slightly inside the slot. So, thinking ahead -- in case I ever adjusted the bracelet again -- I might want to one day replace the screw. I have also ordered another screwdriver, just in case, with a non-tapered tip. In theory, because the tip is of uniform thickness, it will fit tighter into the slot (which is always a good thing:). So, back to my original question: Where can you get replacement screws for the Sub bracelet? Thank you. |

You can order them at your AD.
Stay away from cheap chinese crap. They are not near the tolerances of the originals and from a different material too.
