The BLRO never really left my mind from the first time I saw one in an AD. There were a few modern pieces in my collection not getting wrist time and flipping them for this beauty was an easy decision... especially when dealing with the king himself, DavidSW. I guess collecting is a process, and my process led to this grail.

The heft of the WG is amazing. For me, the red/blue are perfect. The photos below show them in a certain light, but they absolutely look different in other lighting conditions. I see the colors as a strong nod to the 6542.

Special thanks must of course go to enabler-in-chief Dr. Tom, whose fantastic photos and words about this piece helped convince me to pull the trigger.

Thomas thanks so much! Vintage will remain my primary focus but it feels great to have cleared out some of the modern pieces I wasn't wearing and consolidating into this one. Hope all is well with you!

Totally agree. I had the BLNR before and the GMT complication is simply awesome when traveling.
