Rubber B strap for Rolex on a Longines Conquest

For the summer, thought I'd try a sporty, fun, colorful strap on my Longines Conquest Classic Chronograph. The original stainless steel bracelet is rather uninspiring. For those not so familiar, this is a 41mm, 100m depth case with a custom ETA 7750 movement modified so that is has a modern column wheel with a vertical clutch. http://raulhorology.com/2013/03/the-...alibre-l688-2/ The price is very reasonable for these specs.

Strap is from Rubber B, the version for the Explorer II 40mm. It is pricey, but is of high quality material and super comfortable. I love the curved ends. It doesn't exactly conform to the case of the Longines, a slight gap of about 0.5mm is slightly noticeable; but the gap is much smaller than you would see with the usual after market square ended strap.

I think it has a bit of a nautical flair. To me the vertical engraved stripes in the dial are suggestive of a wooden boat deck. That, plus the color of the strap (Pacific Blue) makes me long to be sailing in the Caribbean.

Thanks. I like to wear watches with white dials in the summer months. Planning on getting a Explorer 16570 sometime, so I figured the strap wouldn't go unused, if it didn't fit the Longines.

Looks good. Exp2 sounds like an excellent choice, too.
