16014...3135 fitment...
Hello everyone... I've sourced parts for a build on my wife's datejust. Parts as follows:
- 16014 datejust case set stainless steel - new plexi - mint jubilee bracelet - champagne floral dial - crown and stem - White gold turned bezel - NOS 3135 movt I have everything that I need but am having trouble of fitment of 3135 in this case set. I was told that everything would be fine. Everything sits in nicely according to jeweler. Question is, has anybody run into or have experience with a 3135 movement in this case set? Any info is much appreciated. |

The 3035 was standard. I'm recalling a depth issue/stem alignment with trying to substitute a 3135 for a 3035. Don't think it's going to fit correctly without modification, might have to cut a deeper seat into the case to accommodate the movement/dial depth.

Thanks handsfull...I was hoping to use the more current 3135 movement. I had a feeling that it wouldn't work. I now have to find either a 3035 or new case to accommodate the 3135 (just what ref. will come up first is the question)
