Pam 233 winding resistance?

I've been enjoying my new 233 but I don't seem to hit any resistance when winding up to the 8 day indicator. Keeps on winding away. Does the 2002 movement not have a clutch mechanism to stop winding or do I have a dud?

Thanks in advance...

I have the PAM 346 8 days with the 2002/9 movement... it does give resistance towards the full wind... Have you tested your to see how long it runs? Are you getting the full 8 days?

Same here. It doesn't stop winding. It also has a longer reserve than the advertised 8 days.

Great, thanks. It looks like I'm getting close to 9 and a quarter days too.

Yes, it does have a clutch mechanism (and you will hear it engage once every "full rotation") but you will only notice it if you wind [a dozen turns or so] past the full indicator.

No worries, you cannot damage the mechanism.
