Although I had no skin in this game I do live close to Niagara-On-The-Lake, and visit there often during the summer. After reading some of Daryl's rambling diatribe, I'll never deal with Darlor Watch.

The interesting thing here is 1/2 his posts indicate his location is in Montreal, the other in the Niagara area.

Careful now. He's in conference with his legion of satisfied lawyer customers that will gladly sue you for slander. No fee of course since he's such a charming fellow.

Me thinks this some sort of staged World wrestling match, two people with no history on our forum arrive with a slinging match, I dont understand the internet that well, but this is either professional stalking of a high level, or this was a planned confrontation on OUR FORUM.

I get why Darryl got banned not sure why the OP is not if the claims are true from Darryl and he bought a cheap Hamilton and not a $5000 Rolex I don't see why he get to roll in a hand grenade then walk away, it is certainly a strange first post on TRF!!!!!!!!!

Goes with what I have always said the TROLL and nasty comments tend to only come from people with less than 500 posts...... P.S. I take it personally when you SCUM call my ROOTBEER an abomination........ There I am done being nasty for another 1800 posts.

Darlor watch has a history of bad service and dissatisfied customers. If you google Darlor watch you can read post after post. Before you buy a watch at Darlor check ebay and you will likely find it in the sold section. Darlor buys watches off ebay, cleans them up and jacks the price up. Not worth the hassle for inflated prices. If reading Darlor's responses her is any indicator of the response you'd have on a transaction...ugh....ugly.

I think his response explains his business tactics, lack of professionalism, and character. Things happen in the world, if he would have just admitted to the mistake and was a humble human being, I'd read the complaint and still consider buying from a guy like this. It's not that something went wrong, eventually something will, but it's how you handle it!

I don't know why anyone would think that website is legit.

Some of these post you read and you don't understand what you just read:

"I just used a few words of describing the "riginal dial" and OMG!!! Jesus had sex with the KKK and all hell broke loose. I will say this again and if you can;t understand these simple words you probably should get a job patting down gravel in a swimming pool. here I go ...."the dial was original to this movement and case.... I assume it was in terrible condition as it is a very old redone dial (i agree not the best of redials but ORIGINAL to this watch) ORIGINAL dial to this movement and case" phew!! said and done with...are we friends again..right??? "

"Alas i am in Canada and proud of this fact, no guns, good health care and safe to walk in th estreets at 1 am but that is off topic and sorry for that. I don;t recall getting any complaints from the "BBB" in the last few years perhaps you can supply me with the fourm you had to fill out of the ID number. Ill leave it at that until you can consider proving your words. BTW Swapping movements? lol not a chance "

Funny, this tread is still going, Daryl must still be pissing people off.

I've never dealt with him, but I know two guys personally, that did. Both are convinced, the guy is off his meds, and just greasy as hell.

He's been discussed here in a couple of threads.Every time he trails off on some rant, just flying off the handle.Pretty funny stuff.

I can't even figure out if these are quotes or not. But to whom ever said there're proud to be from Canada, I'm happy for you. But you aren't going to shit on the United States Constitution and our residents without some fallout.

Free health care good for you. No guns, well, its our 2nd amendment ( Bill of Rights, Amendments 1-10 ) of the Constitution. So if you have a problem with it, come over and use our 1st amendment to protest this.

And I'm glad every street in Canada is safe at 1am lol

these are quotes from Darlor/Darryl Lesser. I found them in bad taste and not logical.

Found the Darlor site today...was pretty intrigued by one of the watches he's offering...

And now boy I'm glad I searched for reviews and found this thread!!

Just another reason this is such a great forum.
