I Have recently purchased a 1999 sub and was given a generic box , does anyone know what box the 1999 sub should have come in and possibly where to acquire one? any pics would be great.

Welcome to TRF!
See this article on boxes on the rolexreferencepage. You'd want the old style box, wooden inside and with a pillow. Also, the anchor would be part of the package (see article on the anchors on the same page). You can buy the above mentioned box style from this site.
